Head of Process Improvement (Black Belt) Negotiable Bangkok 16 October 2017

Responsibilities:
  • Managing a portfolio of change projects and providing thought leadership to solve the most complex problems. The number of projects will depend upon scale and complexity but you will actively manage each through the project life-cycle. 
  • Support and coach your team using your technical knowledge and experience to drive best practice and ensure capability is optimised.
  • You will be required to market the Process Improvement team to the organisation to gain buy-in and solicit new process improvement opportunities, you will act as a business partner - using your communications skills you’ll work with the senior leaders to understand their key issues, facilitate data driven decisions, and generate innovative solutions.
 
Process Improvement:
  • Utilise various process improvement tools and methodologies when designing Process Improvement teams work plans to meet business objectives
  • Anticipate and proactively manage program risks and issues that impact program progress
  • Ensure timely completion and achievement of project deliverables
  • Deliver practical solutions and methodologies to solve complex business problems
  • Lead, coach, and mentor team
  • Develop and present internal and external content for leadership team
  • Ensure deployment of common solutions across divisions and businesses
  • Vet new project opportunities and write corresponding business cases
  • Develop and share best practices
 
Financial Management:
  • Partner with Finance to develop and track project metrics
  • Monitor performance and improvement in key metrics
  • Deliver operational improvement and financial benefits to meet or exceed annual targets
 
Qualifications:
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Master Black Belt certification preferred
  • Requires a minimum of 5 to 7 years process improvement or process redesign experience
  • Requires a minimum of 2 to 5 years leadership experience with coaching/mentoring of business process improvement practitioners
  • Financial Services industry experience preferred, but not essential
  • An in-depth understanding of change management challenges and especially related to process improvement
  • Proven project management and process improvement skills including strong knowledge of lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
